GRANT POLICY

The Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation offers restricted grants for designated 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations engaged in Children’s Interests, Agriculture, Southwestern American History, Culture, Art and Literature and Health Care. The Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation focuses grants in and around Uvalde, Texas and the greater South Texas geographic area.

The Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation will consider seed funding, challenge or matching grants, as well as multi-year awards for programs or organizations that align with its mission. The Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation does not accept grant solicitations for administrative costs, debt reduction, fund-raising efforts, table purchases, or from individuals.

The Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation accepts Letters of Inquiry (LOI) on an ongoing basis and will inform potential grantees after reviewing their LOIs if it would like to receive a more detailed grant proposal. An invitation to submit a more detailed proposal does not mean a grant will be awarded.

All organizations that have previously received a grant must submit an accounting and impact report prior to be considered for follow up funding.
